‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, October 2 UPDATE: Pre-Emption Notice, Offended Persons Of Interest, Legitimate Questions, Dysfunctional Family

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, October 1 tease there are offended persons of interest , legitimate  questions, and a good dose of family dysfunction! Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) offended, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has legitimate questions, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) bicker in the Quartermaine crypt, displaying family dysfunction!

Preemption Notice

According to showrunner Nathan Varni, the episodes on Tuesday, September 30, and Wednesday, October 1, will be pre-empted and will not be available later on Hulu or the ABC website. This interruption is due to the Major League Baseball Wild Card playoffs.

GH should return with the episode described here on Thursday, October 2, except in the case of a tie between one of the baseball teams competing on Wednesday.

In that event, it’s possible that Thursday, October 3 would also be pre-empted. That means new episodes would return on Friday, October 4. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Offended Persons Of Interest

Carly is being questioned in the office of Port Charles Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), even though she has an alibi for the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot.

She retorts to Anna, “Do your job, and stop trying to pin it on the obvious suspect!” Carly feared this would occur, especially since Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) overheard her making a death threat against Drew.

Nevertheless, Anna refuses to rule Carly out simply because Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) provided her with an alibi. As she previously told Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), Anna does not trust Jack to be truthful!

Legitimate Questions

At the hospital, Britt has some legitimate concerns for Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) after feeling uneasy at the sight of James West (Gary James Fuller).

She was aware that he, Spinelli, and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) were heading to Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) room. Britt appeared troubled by the entire idea of a not-so-dead Nathan getting close to the family, including their mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

Now, she confronts Spinelli, questioning whether he truly believes Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be alright with this? There’s something off about this situation—it just doesn’t sit right!

Nathan Seems Cool With It

It seems that James has finally entered Nathan’s room to meet his biological father for the very first time, despite Britt’s concerns—James appears to tell him something is cool. Nathan responds with a broad smile, exclaiming, “Cooler”!

Nathan never had the chance to meet James, as Maxie was expecting when Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) shot him in the chest, and that gunshot is the last memory Nathan claims to have.

Clearly, Nathan is unfazed by his resurrection and the opportunity to see his son for the first time—if he truly is Nathan.

Although their DNA may have matched, there are ways to manipulate that; it wouldn’t be the first instance of faked DNA matches in Port Charles!

Sonny’s New Connection

In another part of town, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) forges a new bond as he encounters Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), the younger sister of the late Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).

The conversation between them revolves around Tracy, with Ronnie asserting that she won’t let Tracy intimidate her! Sonny, too, shows no fear of Tracy, despite her numerous attempts to drive him out of Port Charles!

It appears that Sonny and the newcomer share a strong connection, exchanging stories—did Monica pen anything about Sonny like Ronnie mentioned she did about Tracy? Will Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) name surface in their chat?

Dysfunctional Family

Meanwhile, Tracy and Michael find themselves in the Quartermaine crypt, where their family’s dysfunction is on full display as they argue among the dearly departed!

Tracy spotted Michael in his car close to Drew’s house on the night of the shooting—and she informed him of this. Now, it appears she’s more focused on asking questions rather than safeguarding him.

It seems like Tracy is implying that Michael might be responsible for his uncle’s murder, given that he has both motive and means, and if Tracy reveals his secret, he had the chance!

Michael, clearly frustrated, tells her that if she truly believes he’s lying, she should report it to the police!

Alexis’ Danger

Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) remains unaware that she and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) captive audience pretended to swallow his sedative and has freed himself from his restraints!

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has made his way upstairs in Alexis’s home, where he has discovered the Cassadine dagger that appeared in the hands of  Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Although Alexis had no desire for the dagger, there it was—how did it end up in her house, and where did Ric come across it?

That question might be moot since Ric now holds the dagger in his hand, pressing it against her throat as she suddenly awakens on the couch!

After spending what felt like weeks in a panic room, Ric has become increasingly desperate—be careful not to sit up too quickly, Alexis; you wouldn’t want that dagger to slip!
