‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, October 2: Offended Suspects, Valid Questions, Family Dysfunction

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, October 2, tease that there are offended suspects, valid questions, and a good dose of family dysfunction! Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) offended, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has valid questions, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) display family dysfunction, bickering in the Quartermaine crypt!

Offended Suspects

Before we dive into the drama, GH will be pre-empted on Tuesday, September 30, and Wednesday, October 1, due to MLB daytime games. In fact, Thursday’s show is still tentative based on Wednesday’s game results.

First thing’s first, during the GH Thursday show, Carly will be interrogated in Port Charles Police Commissioner Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, despite her alibi for the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot. She snarks at Anna, “Do your job, and stop trying to pin it on the obvious suspect!” Carly was afraid that would happen, considering Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) walked in on her death threat for Drew.

However, Anna will not exclude Carly just because Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) gave her an alibi. As she previously explained to Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) Anna doesn’t trust Jack not to lie! (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Valid Questions

At the hospital, Britt has some valid questions for Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) after being uncomfortable at the sight of James West (Gary James Fuller). She knew he, Spinelli and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) were on the way to Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) room. Britt seemed uncomfortable at the whole thought of a not-so-dead Nathan getting close to the family, including their mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Now she buttonholes Spinelli, asking him if he really thinks Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be okay with this? Something’s off with this scenario-it doesn’t feel right at all!

Nathan West Meets His Son

Next, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday show note that James will make it into Nathan’s room to meet his birth father for the first time, in spite of Britt’s reservations. Nathan’s response to James is a big smile, and he says “Well, hello there!” Nathan never met James, since Maxie was pregnant when Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) shot him in the chest, and that gunshot is the last thing that Nathan has said he remembers.

Nathan is obviously cool with his back from the dead situation and seeing his son for the first time; if he’s really Nathan. His DNA may have matched, but there are ways around that, it wouldn’t be the first time DNA matches were faked in Port Charles!

Sonny Corinthos Makes A New Connection

Elsewhere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a new connection, as he meets the late Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) younger sister, Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak). Tracy seems to be the topic of discussion between the two of them, as Ronnie tells Sonny she’s not about to be scared off by Tracy! Sonny’s not scared of Tracy either, even though she’s tried really hard to scare him out of Port Charles several times! It seems that Sonny and the newcomer have a good rapport, and can tell each other some stories-did Monica write about Sonny too, the way Ronnie said she wrote about Tracy? Will Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) name come up between them?

Family Dysfunction

In the meantime, Tracy and Michael are in the Quartermaine crypt, and their family dysfunction is in full view as they bicker among the dearly departed! Tracy saw Michael in his car near Drew’s house the night he was shot, and told him she did. Now it seems she’s asking a lot of questions instead of trying to protect him.

It sounds like Tracy is accusing Michael of trying to murder his uncle, since he’s got motive and means, and if Tracy doesn’t keep his secret, he had opportunity! Michael is beyond annoyed as he tells her, if she’s so sure that he’s lying, go to the cops!

 Alexis Davis Is In Danger

Finally, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, September 2 note that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has no idea her and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) captive audience faked swallowing his sedative and has broken his bonds! Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has made his way upstairs in Alexis’s house, and he’s found the Cassadine dagger that surfaced with Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Alexis didn’t want the dagger, and yet, there it was-how did it get in her house and where did Ric find it? That question may be irrelevant as Ric has the dagger in his hand and holds it to her throat as she awakens on the couch with a start! After being in what essentially is a panic room for several weeks, Ric got downright desperate-don’t sit up too fast, Alexis, you don’t want that dagger to slip!
