General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, May 29 tease heart-to-hearts, constant commitment, and plans crashing down.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) has a heart-to-heart with her dad, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) shows constant commitment, and Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) life comes crashing down.
Heart-To-Hearts
Brook Lynn is tearful as she talks to her dad, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) being there for his daughter. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
She says her son never gives her the chance to love him, as Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has rejected his whole family.
She and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tried to explain, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) did as well.
Gio responded extremely negatively, saying the Quartermaines were all a bunch of liars, as well as his Cerullo side family.
All Brook Lynn can do now is mourn the loss of a boy who she only just found out is her son, at least for the time being.
Constant Commitment
As for Gio, he’s still on Robin’s Bridge with Emma, who demonstrates constant commitment to him.
She tells him where he goes, she goes, understanding it’s not good for him to be alone at a time like this even though he’s withdrawing from family.
If he has a plan for where he’s going, he hasn’t told anyone yet, and Emma will remain with him.
He may feel like he no longer has a family, but he has friends who will become more and more like family. Perhaps, with time and patience he’ll inch closer and closer to them again.
Congratulations In Order?
Meanwhile, back at the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy tells someone she guesses congratulations are in order.
Perhaps she’s also talking to Ned, congratulating him on being a grandfather? It seems everyone else is somewhere other than the mansion, but Ned and Brook Lynn, along with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are there.
The fallout from these truths being revealed after twenty-two years are far reaching and everyone’s life has been altered. Is healing even possible with the train wreck the truth has caused?

Sasha Advises Cody
In the meantime, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are talking in the Quartermaine kitchen.
She looks sad as he expresses his regrets, saying it didn’t have to be like this. Cody is extremely sympathetic to Gio’s situation, but for him, it was totally different-no one lied to him about his birth parents.
He knew his mother although she died when he was very young, and he’s the one who lied to his birth father for a while, not the other way around.
Cody likely can’t help but feel responsible for some of the fallout, as he was helping Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) figure out some pertinent things.

Worried Willow
Back in the car with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) Willow Corinthos, (Katelyn MacMullen) who just talked to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) about their kids, is discouraged.
Michael now has legal sole custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko) until the custody hearing.
She’s upset as she tells Drew regarding Michael, “If he gets his way, I’ll never see them again”.
They had gone to the Port Charles Police station where they accused Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) of kidnapping Amelia, but Mac Scorpio (John J. York) had no legal reason to press charges. Their hands are tied and all they can do is wait, and plot, until the custody hearing.

Jason And Michael Confer
In the meantime, Jason and Michael confer on the deck of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, as Jason asks Michael, “Is there any room for a compromise?”
Michael is firmly in the mode of “no more Mr. Nice Guy” when it comes to his cheating wife and uncle!
Jason likely is trying to keep things peaceful between Michael and Willow, and acknowledging the little ones don’t need to be exposed to their parents hating each other.
But as long as Willow’s firmly hanging onto her delusions about her zero hero Drew, the kids don’t need to be with her!

Lives Crashing Down
In the meantime, Dante is confronting Lulu over the part she played in Gio’s heartbreaking meltdown, and he looks confused and hurt.
Lulu demands, “Do you think I did this to win you back?” That’s certainly not helpful when he is still in mourning for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)!
No doubt Dante now knows that Gio must have overheard Lulu’s confrontation of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) over keeping Brook Lynn and Dante’s son a secret. Whether she meant for him to overhear is a moot point-as she will be crying bitterly as her life will come crashing down as well!
