'GH' Spoilers Thursday, December 25: Preemption, Laura’s Promise, Ava And Lucy Clash, Willow Pleads With Drew

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, December 25 reveal a Christmas Day preemption, but we can still give you this sneak peek of Friday, December 26th’s episode!

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) makes a promise, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) clash, and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) pleads with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Christmas Day Preemption

Christmas Day, GH will be preempted for NBA basketball, the Cleveland Cavaliers will play the New York Knicks, followed by the San Antonio Spurs playing Oklahoma City Thunder.

If you’re not a basketball fan, enjoy your holiday in your customary manner, and look forward to the Port Charles action that will happen on Friday, December 26. In addition to the highlights of Friday’s episode discussed here, a few other things happen also.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will miss Monica Quartermaine, (Leslie Charleson) while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) holds a grand soiree at Wyndemere Castle. Plus, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will make an observation.

Molly Gives Her Mom Advice

At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) gives her mom some advice-she tells her she tried her way, why not give theirs a try?

What might Molly be referring to-surely she’s not giving her mom advice for work, like something to try in the courtroom!

On the other hand, future GH spoilers reveal Alexis will try a new strategy when court reconvenes, so perhaps it is about Willow’s trial.

After all, mother and daughter are both attorneys, they probably engage in shop talk every once in a while. As long as they’re not facing each other in the courtroom on a particular case!

Laura  Makes A Promise

At their home, Laura makes a promise to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) in front of their Christmas tree, and he’ll show his gratitude. Laura promises that she won’t let her rage against Sidwell spoil their holidays.

Laura, along with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are in a very sticky situation thanks to Sidwell’s blackmail with photos of the late Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) in Laura’s trunk, with the two standing there!

Kevin is very understanding, and loyal to his wife, and for that, Laura is very grateful. It’s probably for the best that they didn’t show up at Sidwell’s soiree, and are spending their Christmas at home.

Ava And Lucy Clash

In the meantime, however, Kevin’s ex-wife Lucy is at the Sidwell soiree and she and Ava clash, as Ava’s in front of a fireplace mantel dressed to the nines, and not happy!

Lucy is having a flirtation with Sidwell who’s flirting unsuccessfully with Ava, who tells Lucy she has no intention of letting her get in the way!

Sidwell’s likely sizeable male ego must be getting a boost if he comes across the two women in an impending catfight over him, from the looks of it.

Has Lucy learned nothing after the disastrous and dangerous relationships she’s occasionally gotten involved in in the past? But then, Ava hasn’t fared much better when it’s come to men in her life either.

Tracy And Michael Talk At The Quartermaine Mansion

In the meantime, Tracy is talking to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) at the Quartermaine mansion-she asks him if he made the phone call they discussed.

Considering she’s missing Monica this first Christmas season without her, might it be in regards to something concerning the late Quartermaine matriarch?

Something special to remember Monica would be very appropriate, even though they’ve barely gotten past her funeral. Michael and Tracy have something they’re cooking up, to be sure.

Willow Pleads With Drew

Willow will plead with Drew about reconsidering letting Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) see her maternal relatives for the holidays, after his outburst at Alexis following court. Likely she will try to get him to see his daughter’s point of view, although he’ll probably still remain stubborn.

For Drew, he seems to be using his daughter as a pawn to get Alexis to do what he wants in the court case, which certainly isn’t right.

The two stand in front of the Christmas tree and they may have reached the end of an argument or disagreement over Scout. Willow concedes to Drew, telling him he’s her father, and it’s his decision.

Sonny And Ned Discuss Gio’s Gift

Sonny and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) discuss the violin that they went in on together to buy for Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

It’s ready, and it’s waiting, but they’re waiting to give it to him until when Gio is ready! Gio was very traumatized when he broke his violin on stage at the Nurses’ Ball and gave up his music, but it’s hard to believe he’s given up music forever.

He just has recently come to accept that he was adopted and that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are his birth parents. Sonny tells Ned, who smiles in agreement, “We’ll know when the time is right”.
