‘GH’ Spoilers: Sonny’s Dark Turn As He Becomes A Suspect In Rocco’s Ominous Situation

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might be a suspect in the shooting of Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Is it possible that Sonny will be falsely accused of taking care of Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) issue?

Sonny Talked About Dalton’s Frameup Of Rocco To Ric

In the November 19 episode of GH, Sonny expressed his concerns to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) about the unfavorable odds surrounding the entire Rocco situation.

While Sonny hoped that ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) had a less compelling case, Ric advised him to accept the discomfort. “Do not succumb to the urge to do anything that could jeopardize our situation,” Ric cautioned Sonny.

This prompted Sonny to respond with a casual, “no Dalton, no case.” Ric remained firm, asserting that there was no need to eliminate Dalton since the new defense strategy was set to succeed.

As Sonny And Ric Discussed Dalton, Sidwell Killed Him!

Naturally, that discussion appeared crucial since Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) fired a lethal shot at Dalton shortly after, and later hiding the body. Ultimately, it was Sidwell who eliminated the troublesome Dalton, but Sonny is bound to attract some suspicion given the situation.

Sonny is fiercely protective of his children and grandchildren, making it well-known what he is capable of when one of them is in danger. With Sonny enraged at Dalton for betraying Rocco, there will undoubtedly be those who suspect he had a hand in Dalton’s death.

Typically, Sonny prefers to have Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or another associate handle the dirty work when someone needs to be taken out.

Sonny Has Eliminated His Own Enemies From Time To Time

Yet, Sonny has been known to get his hands dirty from time to time; such as when he ruthlessly took down John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) on the Quartermaine estate.

Once Sidwell disposes of Dalton’s body, it seems that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will stumble upon it and notify the authorities-it turned out it was in her car trunk!

However, Laura might find herself accused of colluding with Sonny to eliminate their grandson’s new adversary.

It’s easy to picture Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) amplifying this narrative to anyone willing to listen, especially since he’ll be harboring resentment after losing the election to Laura.

Regardless, Sonny had a clear motive to want Dalton out of the picture for good and has already been dropping hints about wanting him gone, and Ric will be sure to ask questions!
