Ava recently persuaded her nephew, Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to prescribe her thirty days of sleeping pills-but is it really a drugging plot that may go too far?
Only Thirty Days, But That’s All Ava Needs
In the episode aired on August 27, Ava confided in Lucas about her struggles with sleep and mentioned that her doctor wouldn’t be available for a few weeks.
Lucas consented to prescribe her sleeping pills, but he made it clear that it would only be for a duration of 30 days. Ava reassured Lucas that this was just what she needed – and we all understand why!
It’s evident that Ava was deceiving him to obtain sleeping pills for Ric, who is being held captive for 30 days while they await the maturation of the treasure bonds.
Nevertheless, there’s a looming risk now that we have essentially confirmed that Ric is going to be sedated, especially if Ava doesn’t intend for him to awaken!
Who Will Beat Who To The Potentially Fatal Drugging?
Ava despises Ric with an intense fervor, and her desire for revenge could eventually consume her; is it possible that this plan involving sleeping pills could backfire?
Might Ava become enraged enough to attempt an overdose on Ric at some point-after all, Ric is just as unpredictable and dangerous as Ava herself.
There’s no telling how Ric will react to Ava once he’s finally free, which gives her plenty of reasons to worry that he might eliminate her entirely.
Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) have a bit of protection since they are part of Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) family.
Ric would never take action against his ex-wife and niece in revenge, but he could and would definitely inflict harm on Ava!
Ava May Decide To Strike First And Drug Ric As He’s In Captivity In Alexis’ Basement
This could escalate into a scenario where Ava feels compelled to eliminate Ric before he has the chance to do the same to her.
She might find herself regretting that the blow to the head didn’t finish Ric off and take control of the situation once more. With Ava’s intention to drug Ric now revealed, is there a possibility she could go overboard and trigger an overdose?
If that happens, it might result in Alexis, Kristina, or even a savior like Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) stumbling upon Ric in a critical condition.
Depending on how everything unfolds, Ric could be rushed to GH without delay, so stay tuned for any concerning updates that may arise.
