And his actions toward Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and his wife Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) are more about spite and revenge than anything else. But Drew recently did something that may cause him to lose more than one of the few allies he has left.
Drew Cain had Stella Henry investigated for insurance fraud!
Part of Drew’s plan against Curtis involved using his contacts in Washington DC to have Stella Henry (Vernae Watson) investigated for insurance fraud.
Stella is very thought of in Port Charles and what Drew is doing to her will not be something even Drew’s closest allies will take lightly.
Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) in particular is extremely upset by Drew’s newest scheme. Martin even tried to make a deal with Drew to get him to back off his investigation of Stella.
Martin Grey refused to be a witness for Drew Cain
Recently, Drew goaded Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) into punching him in public. Martin was one of several people who witnessed the assault. None of the other witnesses would back up Drew’s side of the story and so it was up to Martin. Martin told Drew he would sign off as a witness as long as Drew backed off Stella. Drew refused and fired Martin on the spot. Now Martin has made an enemy of Drew as well.
Martin Grey may leave town again
Martin only recently returned to Port Charles after a stint in prison for not paying his former wives their back alimony. Although he’s managed to pay off most of the debt now, Martin is broke.
He’s been staying with his sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis) while he tried to make money. But now that he’s lost his most lucrative client and living in fear of what Drew might do to him, there’s every possibility that Martin may skip town for a while once again.
