Friday’s Episode Saw Anna Intervening In A Fight Between The Two Detectives
Friday’s episode saw Dante coming to work with an attitude, when he sat down at his desk in the PCPD which backs up to Chase’s. Dante told Chase that their discussion needed to remain entirely professional.
Chase expressed skepticism about this, noting that he is managing his new case alone and that Interim District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) has asked Dante to steer clear of it.
With that, Dante set off to find some answers from Anna-he explained the situation to Anna and compared it to her keeping Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) a secret from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). saying he had a right to know.
When Dante returned to his desk, Chase confronted him, asserting that he is allowing his personal feelings to interfere with work—Dante stands his ground; he refuses to let that occur.
In reaction, Dante raises his voice, accusing Chase of hiding his wife’s secret—just then, Anna walks in and steps in to calm the situation.
Chase Was In A Tight Spot When Brook Lynn Told Him The Situation
Viewers recall that Chase found himself in a difficult situation when Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) revealed that she became pregnant by Dante during her teenage years.
Brook Lynn chose to give Dante’s child up for adoption, yet she kept this information from him for more than twenty years. Chase was reluctant to betray his wife’s trust, particularly because this was such an intimate secret for Brook Lynn.
Nevertheless, Dante carries some unresolved hurt and bitterness since Chase failed to support him. There is an expectation of complete trust between these PCPD colleagues, but that trust was broken when Dante discovered Chase’s dishonesty.
Chase Is Also Frustrated
Chase shares the same frustration as Dante refuses to see his perspective and move beyond the situation.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is growing tired of the constant bickering, prompting her to take decisive action on Monday, June 16.
Given that Dante and Chase are not behaving like mature, professional detectives, Anna will treat them as if they were criminals—in fact, more like squabbling children; she plans to put them in a time out!

After Anna warns this must come to an end, she firmly states that neither of them will leave until they can resolve their issues and begin to behave like partners once more.
Anna Orders The Two Into A Cell In Lockup
As the scene unfolds, Anna instructs Dante and Chase to step into one of the jail cells at the PCPD. Although Chase and Dante clearly aren’t pleased, they comply and get locked in. “If they start brawling again, spray them with the hose!”
Anna directs a guard, who will soon be tasked with watching over the quarreling detectives while she attends to other matters-will Anna’s plan ultimately succeed? Will being confined together in jail be sufficient to persuade Dante and Chase to reconcile?
