General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, October 17 tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gives advice, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) makes demands, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) asks questions.
Plus, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) plea bargains, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is shocked, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) changes her mind.
Giving Advice
At home in Carly’s house in the kitchen, she gives advice to her daughter, secret spy Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy); it looks like Josslyn doesn’t know yet that her mother knows she’s WSB.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) finally spilled the tea, in spite of having promised Josslyn he wouldn’t, but it appears to have been for her own good.
Carly is calm as she speaks to her daughter, unlike her panicked and adrenaline-charged reaction when Jason first told her.
Carly gives Josslyn some good advice; she tells her to try not to make promises she can’t keep. But Carly will also be doing some digging, and it might be digging into Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) excuses, and how he managed to rope Josslyn into the WSB!
Anna’s Demands
Elsewhere, Anna is getting in Jack’s face over the project being run right there in Port Charles that’s connected to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)!
There’s everything from cold fusion to possible resurrection or cloning going on, and Anna tells Jack the two of them need to work together to stop it.
No more of this “civilian cops” having no business in the WSB’s cases-crime solving is not proprietary!
Jack was the one who blackmailed Anna out of the WSB several years ago over her double agency with the WSB and the DVX.
Jack tried to find out from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) exactly what Faison’s project was that he suspects is still being worked on by others, and Anna’s the best Faison expert around!

Dante Asks Questions
In the meantime, Dante is at Bobbie’s, and he asks questions of his former partner, back-from-the-dead Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). It’s obvious that his questions pertain to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as Dante asks if she’d take the fall for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Nina and Willow were both arrested regarding the attempted murder of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Nina for conspiracy and Willow for the shooting.
Nina was willing to lie to give her daughter an alibi, although it crumbled when Anna found proof she wasn’t with her when the crime took place. But would she really do prison time for her daughter, is the question that Dante asks Nathan.

Marco Plea Bargains For Nina
In the meantime, Nina is with Marco in the courthouse, in the presence of Acting District Attorney Justine Turner, trying to arrange a plea bargain.
Marco asks Turner what’s on the table if she gives it to you, presumably some intel Justine needs for a case?
There are a couple of possibilities here, one being information she may be privy to involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and past crimes.
On the other hand, she may also have inside information on something Drew has done illegally, and that would certainly turn some tables!

Martin Is Shocked
In the questioning room at the Port Charles Police Department, Martin is shocked as Willow tells him what his legal strategy should be!
She is insistent that they have to shift the blame to the person who tried to kill Drew, who she’s already decided is Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
After all, why else would Michael frame her by putting Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun, the murder weapon, in her room at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst)?
Martin will certainly have something to say about Willow’s demanding strategy. Who does she think she is, after all, Perry Mason?

Britt Changes Her Mind
Outside Bobbie’s, Britt is with Jason as she tells him, on second thought, she’ll come in with him. Is Jason there to get the rest of his stuff from the room she’s staying in, thanks to him, or is she only referring to the diner itself? Jason should have been fully moved out by now, as he’s living at the Quartermaine mansion.
He’s obviously asked her to come in with him, which led to her response and changing her mind. Is Britt finally starting to open her heart to another try at romance?
