General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, November 7, tease Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has an election setback, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) pays a visit, and Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) gets a break. Plus,
Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) gets advised, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is warned, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tells Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to ‘shoot’ is now!
Laura Collins’s Election Setback
Laura is obviously worried about her mayoral campaign, which will suffer a setback as she talks to her daughter Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). Laura tells Lulu that tonight could make or break Port Charles. And indeed it could, depending on the outcome of her campaign and the fate of Proposition Three, which pertains to the waterfront. Behind the scenes, Sidwell has been actively working to undermine Mayor Laura’s reputation and her campaign because he wants the waterfront for his secret projects. In particular, he wants Sonny’s piers where Corinthos Coffee’s warehouse is located, so, who will win?
Carly Spencer’s Secret Visit
Again, Carly, in her disguise is visiting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at Steinmauer, and she updates him that if all goes according to plan, he’ll never see her in this place again. That’s because she’s all but convinced Jack to have Valentin moved stateside so Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) can visit more often. There’s even a chance it could be o Pentonville, just outside Port Charles.
Having more accessibility to Charlotte was Valentin’s demand, in exchange for his giving Brennan more details on who Cesar Faison’s (Marc Forget) partner is on his final project. But will Valentin be moved in time to save Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and be able to protect his daughter? If anyone can figure out who kidnapped Anna and why, it would be him!

Jack Brennan’s Breakthrough
During the General Hospital November 7 episode, Jack will excitedly tell Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), “That’s the break we need.” Could he mean Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) asking Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to move in, or is this about his call from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)? Jack got a call from Anna – or, someone calling through a voice simulator to sound like Anna – during the Thursday, November 6 episode. Will Jack realize Anna is in trouble, or will “Anna” give him intel?

Emma Scorpio-Drake Is Advised
In the meantime, at Bobbie’s, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) advises Emma. In the aftermath of Emma barging in on her when she was with Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) she tells her that she and Emma will not be working together. Emma looks rather disappointed, because she wanted to be in that lab so she could set the animals who no doubt were being experimented on set free.
Even though she and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) along with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) set up a plan to get into the lab, it hasn’t worked out. Later, Emma and Charlotte will strategize, to try and figure things out.

Jenz Sidwell Is Warned
Across town, it would seem that Ava Jerome (Maura West) wants to protect her nephew Lucas, as it certainly sounds like the mob queen in her has risen up! She gets up close and personal in his face as she implies a serious threat, telling him there will be no place to hide! It was Ava who told Lucas in no uncertain terms that it was time for him to move out, and they had a serious conversation about Marco’s and his relationship.
The saying, “it takes one to know one” certainly seems to apply in this case. Ava seems to see right through the ”gentrified” mercenary mobster Sidwell!

Jason Morgan Tells Sonny Corinthos That, “It’s Time To Shoot”
GH spoilers for the November 7 episode not that Jason tells Sonny it’s time to strike, as he says “maybe we take the shot before it’s too late!” Most certainly they too, are discussing Sidwell, and his efforts to take over Sonny’s piers and take out Sonny with them! The one ace Sonny has in his hole is Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) acting like a double agent with her reporting Sidwell’s secrets to the Mayor.
Even though Laura and Sonny have to keep their communications on the down low, because of Laura needing to keep her reputation, they manage to communicate. Their friendship goes back years, to when she and Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) were still together, and they share grandchildren as well so he’s family.
