General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, May 23 tease an impatient “prisoner”, peacemaking efforts, and worried new grandparents!
Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) impatient, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) wants to make peace, and Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) “new grandparents” are worried.
Impatient “Prisoner”
Tracy’s not actually been booked into the Port Charles jail, but she may as well be since she feels like a prisoner; she’s impatient as she shouts “get me out of here!” (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
She knows she’s been framed by Drew Cain/Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and her lawyer aims to prove it.
Will she be able to score bail for this as yet unproven allegation, with it’s circumstantial evidence?
Things are getting rowdy in the questioning room and although the ketamine found in her car might be enough to charge Tracy, it’s still circumstantial. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will be relieved when this situation is resolved!
Peacemaking Efforts
In the meantime, Willow tells Drew she wants to make peace, and to end this terrible fight over the kids.
Perhaps Gio’s devastated announcement on the stage got her to thinking her kids could feel the same way about their father.
The last thing Willow wants is for Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) to feel like Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) doesn’t want them.
She doesn’t understand why he wouldn’t see her in the clinic in Baden-Baden, but then she doesn’t know Drew manipulated the situation either. It will be interesting to see what Drew’s response will be.

Surprise Visitor
In the meantime, at home, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) gets a surprise visit. She’s laying down on her couch as she smiles and asks her visitor “what are you doing here?”
Obviously this is someone she wasn’t expecting to see, so it must not be Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson).
Perhaps the visitor is someone she hasn’t seen in a long time, arrived from out of town for the ball but wanted to see her first.
It looks like Elizabeth and her mystery visitor will have a very good visit. At least, Elizabeth sure looks happy to see them!

Inconvenient Questions
It seems to be an inconvenient question that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who are standing backstage in their ball gowns.
Lucy is impatient as usual, asking why aren’t they in their costumes? The looks on their faces beg the question, “what costumes?” Trina is worried-and Joss looks worried too, possibly about their distraught friend Gio.
Perhaps Lucy is drafting them for a replacement act for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) tango?

Worried “New Grandparents”
In the meantime, Gio’s worried “new grandparents”, with the exception of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) are worried.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is crying as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) looks shellshocked and worried too.
They’re all confused at Gio’s outburst on stage and his subsequent smashing of his violin-Ned, a musician looked particularly shocked!
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tells them Lois has to know something, he’s sure of it. The implication is that Lois must know where Gio went off to in such a state, although she wasn’t shown going after him-hopefully, someone did.

Carly Chastises Lulu
As Gio had his outburst on stage, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) had an “oh, crap!” look on her face while Lois was heartbroken and fearful.
It is obvious that they both knew instantly he’d overheard their argument backstage when he announced his birth parents by name.
Lulu hadn’t in fact told Gio or anyone else as she threatened to do to Lois, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) probably thinks she did.
Lulu probably explains to Carly she was on the right track, although she didn’t intend for Gio to find out the truth like he did.
Carly tells her she needs to get off the track before she gets leveled, as the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train!
Jason Morgan’s Mysterious Call
Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) who didn’t attend the ball gets a mysterious phone call. Jason asks the person on the other end “what do you need me to do?”
It sounds like Michael, who was seen watching the Nurses’ Ball on a cell phone in a plane, may be calling Jason for some assistance.
It’s likely that he may ask Jason to bring him from the airport to the ball, and possibly to round up his children.
Michael will be stunned, as will Willow, when he learns that she had come to the clinic to visit him and he wasn’t even told she was there!
