GH Spoilers: Brad And Britt Team Up to Reclaim Their Roles as Chief Of Staff And Lucas’ Lover?

General Hospital spoilers exclaim Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is back — and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) couldn’t be happier.

Although these two are spending the night in the slammer together, there are worse things — like having to admit you can’t pay the bill at the priciest restaurant in town.

Broken and nearly destitute, they’re both clawing their way back to a stable life with a solid income in any way they can. Brad showing up at Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) hospital room wasn’t a coincidence.

He likely wanted her feeling off kilter so he can start pushing for her to give him his old job back, which would give him instant proximity to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). Likewise, Britt is dying to have her gig back in obstetrics. Could these two best buds scratch each others’ itch and get their old lives back?

Brad Gets Bolder

Brad wasted no time making sure Portia knew he was back. He always did love keeping her guessing and completely on edge. It’s working all over again, and she was terribly worried he could have overheard her conversation with Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

She emphasized that if Brad somehow found out about their affair — and the possibility that he was the father of her baby — that he would use it to destroy her. Maybe, or maybe not. It seems more like Brad is out for opportunity versus revenge.

But he could continue to hold that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) over her head for as long as it works for him.

GH Spoilers Report Britt Could Cross Sidwell

Britt is working closely with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and she has already spilled the beans more than she probably should have about the level of work she does and what it’s been like for her to be a forced participant in his cold fusion research project.

If Britt spies a way for Brad to use the dirt he has on Portia to unseat her as Co-Chief of Staff, will she attempt to pigeon-hole herself back into the role?

Likewise, will she do Brad a favor in return and gather evidence of Sidwell’s nefarious acts, and Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) role in them — all so he can squeal to Lucas and try to ruin his relationship with Marco, leaving him single and ready for poaching.?

Which is More Likely?

Now that at least some hospital staff know Portia is pregnant, it’s only a matter of time before she has to reveal who the father of her baby is.

Even if it is Curtis Ashford (Connell Turner), if word gets out that Portia was sleeping with one of her subordinates, that may be cause for removal as Co-Chief of Staff.
