The last time she was seen on the ABC soap, the character she played at that time (and is hopefully reprising – although fans still don’t know yet), Britt Westbourne, passed away saving Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from The Hook, a.k.a. Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Thiebaud recently spoke with TV Insider about her explosive return to the ABC soap.
Returning Home
When Thiebaud exited the canvas two years ago, she moved to London. During her TV Insider interview, she stated that she did walk away from her last day on GH thinking she’d never return, which is why she believes coming back now, “… has so many feelings attached to it.”
The actress did eventually move back to the United States, and she explained she had “multiple signs” that she got from people, and the ABC soap kept coming back in her life. She started talking to the show’s Executive Producer Frank Valentini, and as she puts it, “A lot of different things … aligned perfectly with the opportunity to be back.”
Thiebaud notes she’s been through so much since her time away from GH, adding, “The more life experience you can add to your tool belt just infuses your work and makes you a better actor.” She also told TV Insider how much she misses the “consistency of acting,” along with “… getting to be creative and play and do weird and fun and exciting things in storytelling.”
Happy To Be Back
While she didn’t reveal whether or not she’s reprising the Britch character, she did state, “I’m a little nervous to see my first couple of episodes.”
With that said, she also relayed how great it was to be back with her old GH family and how much she missed everyone in the cast and crew – from the audio people to hair and makeup, the lighting guys, and camera operators!
