DOOL Spoilers: Judi Evans’ Emotional Reaction To A Script That Could Mean Her Character’s End!

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal some behind the scenes news about Judi Evans, who plays Bonnie Kiriakis.

A script sent her into panic—until the truth emerged; in an interview with SOD, she revealed the reasons behind her fear of facing another devastating departure from the show.

Judi Previously Played Adrienne Kiriakis, And Was Afraid She Was Getting Killed Off Again

Fans will undoubtedly remember that Judi Evans once brought to life the character of Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis, who met a tragic end in a car accident.

This occurred during the intense time jump storyline that gripped DOOL from 2019 to 2020; while it was heartbreaking to bid farewell to Adrienne, there was a silver lining. Evans had the opportunity to step into another role.

She continued her journey as Bonnie Kiriakis, but her heart sank when she read the script revealing Bonnie’s perilous fall down the elevator shaft. “I thought, ‘Oh no. They’re going to write me off,’” Evans reflected, sharing her emotional turmoil with Days fans during that pivotal moment.

Judi Was Afraid To Ask Too Many Questions

It’s no wonder Evans jumped to that conclusion; that fall was nothing short of catastrophic; unaware of the twists in Bonnie’s storyline, she felt too intimidated to approach the higher-ups for clarity.

The last time she sought more information, they dropped the bombshell that Adrienne was being killed off.

This left Evans anxious that she might receive similar devastating news again, so she chose to remain silent and watch the drama unfold.

In the meantime, she spiraled into a state of panic, anxiously awaiting the next script and worrying about Bonnie’s fate. “I was in a frenzy. I shed some tears. I was genuinely concerned. I was losing it because the uncertainty was overwhelming, and I was too scared to ask,” Evans admitted.

Judi Breathed A Sigh Of Relief When The Next Script Came

Evans could finally exhale with relief when she received the next script and discovered that Bonnie had made it through!

Even though Bonnie faced quite a bit of turmoil, Judi Evans humorously mentioned that her recovery would be quicker than you’d expect.

It won’t be long before Bonnie returns to her familiar self, and we’ll keep you posted on the exciting developments for her character.
