Chanel’s Heart Is Broken Over Johnny’s Cancelling The Adoption
The adoption of Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) baby was practically a done deal, Chanel had a baby shower and even Sophia gave her a baby book.
Then, Johnny pulled the rug out from under all of them by cancelling the adoption at the last minute, breaking Chanel’s heart and shocking Tate and Sophia! Johnny will soon feel Tate’s reaction to all of this when he answers the door to a fist in the face!
Tate, understandably is livid over Johnny’s decision which made no sense to anyone, but especially not Chanel.
She is blindsided and heartbroken over Johnny’s cavalier decision to ruin her, and their, future-only now she’s decided there is no more “their”.
Johnny Is Full Of Self-Loathing, Leading To His Rash Decision
Johnny is full of self-loathing, leading to his rash decision-even talking to his other grandmother Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) didn’t help his self-hatred.
He believes he inherited EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) evil side and doesn’t want to treat any child of his that way, adopted or natural.
Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tried to reason with him but it didn’t do any good; it seems that Johnny’s crossed a bridge that’s fallen into a chasm.
Chanel finally forgave him dumping her at their first after wedding celebration after realizing the devil really did make him do it.
Now, Chanel wonders if the devil that possessed Johnny is really part of him-honestly, they may not be able to work things out and save their marriage!
