Spoiler alert: Rachel Reilly lost the competition to Lauren Domingue. So, if she cheated and had an advantage, it didn’t help her.
Rachel’s husband, Brandon Villegas (Big Brother 12) posted a video on Instagram detailing why the cheating accusation is false and blasting his wife’s haters for trying to get her kicked off the show.
Brandon Reveals Big Brother Suitcase Protocol
Brandon explains that when you arrive on the Big Brother set, production goes through your suitcase.
If you have anything in your bag that is not approved, they take it until the game is over. If you are evicted before the jury, you would get your belongings then.
If you make it to the jury, they will deliver your “Big Brother illegal items” to you after the game concludes.
Villegas adds that just because Rachel is a “Big Brother legend,” that doesn’t mean she gets special treatment. She must follow the same rules everyone does.
In fact, he claims that Rachel loves the game so much that she would never break any rule, like taking a pen and paper into the game.
Brandon Calls Cheating Accusation ‘Hogwash’
The Big Brother alum said he has a hard time believing that Rachel, being an honest player, could have paper and a pencil or pen and no one would notice. Production did not call her out on it. No players did either until after the competition.
Brandon agrees that if his wife cheated, she should face penalties. However, he knows for certain, she would never cheat in any competition, let alone one that is on national television.
Social media came unglued after Rylie and Keanu accused the Big Brother legend of cheating. Apparently, in other countries’ versions of Big Brother, several players have been kicked out of the game for using a pen and paper to cheat on challenges.
As Brandon pointed out, if Rachel did cheat, why didn’t she win? What would be the purpose of cheating on a competition, only to lose and have social media drag her name through the mud?
After listening to Brandon’s video, most of the fans agree with the former reality TV star. The accusations are nothing but hogwash.
