The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Sad Sack Eric?

If you want holiday cheer, the Forresters have holiday cheer each year as Eric Forrester (John McCook) throws a big shindig at his house, as he always does. Everyone arrives dressed to the nines, as this is a fashion soap, so fashion will always abound. (Check Out Our Weekly B&B Spoilers, HERE!)

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) even has a very special gift for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), now that they are married again.

It’s been quite a year for Brooke and Ridge. He dumped her, hopped in bed with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) within minutes, became engaged to Taylor, rescued Brooke when she flung herself off a boat in the Mediterranean, then broke up with Taylor, before marrying Brooke five minutes later. Phew, that was a lot.

But now they are happy again, while Taylor pines for Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), of all people.

What kind of gift could Ridge have in store? Is he giving Brooke her own fashion house, as to not be outdone by Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)? Those two men are always competing with one another, so why not offer an extravagant gift?

New Romance and Dreams For Christmas

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) put in an appearance as each other’s dates.

They are inseparable these days and Carter actually looks happy to be with a woman who doesn’t have eyes for someone else, for a change.

Carter and Daphne share a kiss under the mistletoe as she enjoys her very first Forrester mansion Christmas Eve. Has Carter finally found the right woman for him?

But let’s not forget all the songs. Eric gathers everyone around the piano to sing all the traditional Christmas songs.

He is still not happy about retiring, but being pragmatic about his future. Maybe he can still design for Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) new fashion house, which would certainly be quite a twist on things. Ridge certainly wouldn’t like that idea…
