Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tells his son that Eric Forrester (John McCook) has been pushing him to reunite with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) for months.
Of course, this sets Thomas off. He cannot believe that, after his parents finally reunite that his own grandfather would work against them and aim to break them up.
Ridge tries to explain it to Thomas. He claims that Eric believes that Brooke is his destiny, and he should stop fighting it.
Ridge may even try to say he doesn’t feel that way, claiming he loves his mother and plans to marry her.
We aren’t sure when Ridge comes clean with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) about Brooke. It should be soon, but they could save that for the November sweeps.
Thomas Forrester Confronts Eric Forrester
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Thomas decides to confront his grandfather about his support of his dad leaving Taylor for Brooke. He cannot believe that Eric has actively tried to end their relationship. This level of meddling blows his mind.
Thomas asks Eric about his support for Brooke and Ridge, specifically why he plotted to ruin his relationship with his mother.
Eric tries to avoid the question, but eventually comes clean. He believes Ridge and Brooke are destined to be together, and the faster he breaks up with Taylor, the easier it will be on everyone.
Eric doesn’t mean any disrespect. He cares deeply for Taylor. She is a wonderful person, just won’t be able to make Ridge as happy as Brooke. This clearly upsets Thomas, who remains determined to protect his parents’ relationship by any means necessary.
Will Thomas Update Steffy?
It’s unlikely Thomas will reveal this conversation to Taylor. He’ll worry she will panic about the upcoming wedding. But he will probably call his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who should be on her way back to Los Angeles in a few weeks.
He might tell her that he doesn’t know how to stop Brooke from manipulating their dad. Eric is on their side and keeps hounding their dad to leave their mom for Brooke!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Thomas will do anything necessary to keep Brooke away from Ridge. He refuses to let her destroy his parents’ chance at happiness.
