The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers show that busy Lisa Yamada (Luna Nozawa) has spoken about her character’s allegedly fatal exit. In a social media post Yamada talked about her experience playing dingbat Luna and she had a message for fans.
First off, let’s recap in case you missed it: Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) confirmed Luna’s demise in the November 21 episode.
Luna escaped jail in a dirty laundry cart and hightailed it to the beach house to reunite with her baby daddy, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).
Is Luna Really Dead?
After she professed her undying love, the cops and assorted relatives descended on the house resulting in Luna racing away in the foggy night. Everyone but Will chased her and for all intents and purposes, it appears that Luna was hit by a car and died.
Yamada posted behind-the-scenes content and had this to say: “so many tears shed, blood spilled, friendships formed, and memories made on @boldandbeautifulcbs. what a ride it’s been! hope you enjoyed the adventures <3 #LUNAtic4ever.”
Can Luna Return to LA?
Executive producer Casey Kasprzyk posted well wishes to Nozawa in the comments: “Lisa, it’s not easy to create a soap villain that leaves such a lasting impact, but you truly elevated #BoldandBeautiful, making the audience love to hate Luna while appreciating your incredible acting talents. Thank you for everything.”
That certainly sounds like a sincere farewell, but soaps are notorious for bringing back characters from the dead.
What Happens Next on the LA-based Sudser?
Yamada’s costars chimed in as well, with Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) writing “You’re an absolute warrior!!! To carry story the you way did, and command the screen is nothing short of amazing. To play the innocent ingenue, then the evil villain, to the broken character that just wants to be loved….. Chefs Kiss!! You’re amazing!”
Rebecca Budig (Taylor Hayes) posted: “Wish I could have done more with you girl! They threw so much at you…so many words, so much emotion and you rocked it all.”
It sounds like Luna is truly gone BUT the body wasn’t shown on-screen leaving many viewers to speculate that Luna will one day return.
Fans have speculated that Lisa Yamada is busy with other projects and may not be able to return to the show.
Tell us B&B fans, would you like to see Luna recast, and have the mayhem continue?!
