But, B&B viewers can’t forget that less than a year ago Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was a horrible husband and tried to split up Steffy’s marriage.
Was Liam’s behavior actually a result of his deadly cancer diagnosis? Now that we know Liam has a tumor, it reminds soap fans of a few other cases on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Did The Writers Pull A Thomas
This won’t be the first time the writers explain away a character’s weird or unforgivable behavior by giving them some sort of deadly disease. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is living proof of that.
The Bold and the Beautiful viewers weren’t impressed when Liam Spencer cheated on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and then slut-shamed his still wife for moving on with Thomas.
Liam got even more sleezy when he began pursuing Steffy and encouraging her to cheat on her husband Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and divorce him.
To say Liam was acting out of character would be an understatement. Now that we know he has a tumor, you can’t help but wonder if his behavior was a symptom of his medical condition.
Does that mean that he never wanted to be with Steffy and was just acting on impulse? Is Liam still actually in love with Hope Logan?
Since Liam began living out his last days on the couch, the rumor mill has hinted towards one last Steam reunion.
But, maybe Carter Walton is the one who should be worried and Hope is the one that Liam wants to really be with.
Will Hope Take Liam Back
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s a high probability of Hope forgiving Liam once she realizes he didn’t mean half of the things he did and said during their ugly break-up.
She was able to look past Thomas carrying around a Hope Mannequin, forgiving Liam should be water under the bridge.
