Is there a pregnancy coming up on Chicago P.D. Season 13?  A popular rumor on TV spoiler sites has been hinting a possible pregnancy for fan fave Kimberly “Kim” Burgess.

Chicago P.D. Returns With New Episodes

Chicago P.D. just returned to NBC with all new episodes on October 1, 2025.  The previous season ended with the popular couple, Kim Burgess ( Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek saying their “I Do’s.” 

The popular couple began working together in Season 7, and slowly fell in love over the years.  Chicago P.D. fans were thrilled when the former partners because official partners again…in marriage. 

Season 13 has picked up where the finale left off, and spoilers say Kim and Adam are navigating their new life as a married couple at home and at work, all while raising their daughter Mak.  It would definitely be crazy if they added an unexpected pregnancy to the midst.  

Chicago PD showrunner Gwen Sigan addressed the Burgess baby rumors in a recent interview.  When asked if there would be a pregnancy bomb coming up she answered, “Not at this moment.  I think they’re very happy with Mac, and I think they got their hands full. At the current moment, I think they’re really enjoying the family unit as they have right now.”

Never say never though.  While there doesn’t appear to be any truth to the rumors THIS time, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any tiny Burgess-Ruzek feet pattering in the future. 

Now that Adam and Kim have tied the knot, that does seem like the next logical step in their storyline.
