Anna Campisi Farewells Son, Gino, But Gets A Sweet Surprise

Anna Campisi from 90 Day Fiance said goodbye to her son, Gino, but later, she and Mursel Mistanoglu and the other kids got a sweet surprise which she shared on social media. Read on to see what warmed a mama’s heart.

Gino Said Goodbye, But Good Things Happened

TLC fans know that Anna must have felt a bit sad to see her son spread his wings and leave home. Two days ago, she shared how her boy joined the Navy, and they went to watch him get sworn in. At the time, she was emotional and apologized for not posting more. But then, on March 30, the Beauty and the Bees owner shared more news that must have given her a lot of joy.

In her Instagram post, she shared some family photos and said:

This was the day before Gino left. His recruiter wanted him at the hotel the afternoon before. I thought this would be the last time we’d see him. Then I got a call a few hours later from him telling me we could watch him swear in and hang out with him at the airport.

Fans Reacted To The Nice News

Many TLC fans like Anna Campisi and Mursel Mistanoglu as they seemed like such an unlikely couple to succeed. However, they worked on their relationship, and he won over the hearts of her sons. Of course, they also welcomed their child together by surrogate, Gokhan. So, her followers took to the comments section to have their say.

One person wrote, “My son left for the Navy in 2008 -and he’s is still there. He wants to retire in 2028. He did his basic training at the Great Lake Naval Base. I remember what you’re feeling.”

Others loved how the family members all seem to get along now. When fans first met the couple, they discovered that she had three boys. At the time, her oldest boy, Joey, was 15, Gino was 14, and Leo was 6. While Leo took to Mursel, it took the older boys time to trust the man from Turkey.

More Comments Followed

More comments arrived because Anna said that Mursel talked about throwing water on the car before departing to sea. She asked if anyone knew why. So, one follower replied, saying:

Spilling/throwing water means “go like water come back like water.” as far as I know. Go and come back with no obstacles on your way. Also we say “may your path be clear” as we throw the water.

Hopefully, Gino will become a successful sailor and always return home safely. What did you think of the surprise phone call that meant Anna Campisi got to see Gino again and watch him get sworn in when she had thought she had said her last goodbye for now?
