Amy Slaton Finds A New Creative Career Pathway

1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton loves to do art, and recently, she sold her first piece of artwork. It was a very proud moment for Brian Lovvorn’s fiancée. Perhaps he encouraged the TLC star to start marketing her talent. Read on to find out more.

A New Hustle For Amy

On Saturday, June 14, Amy took to her Instagram and shared a photo of herself standing with her first customer. Her artwork was held up. Some people have seen Amy’s art in the past, and she likes to work in mixed media. Historically, she leaned toward Stay-Puft art with cartoon characters. However, her new artwork seems rather more abstract.

Interestingly, in her caption, she mentioned that her new career direction in artwork will be under the name of Lovvorn. She wrote, “So thankful for Katie buying some of my art from me!! My first sale and hopefully more to come soon.

Then, in another comment, she talked about starting a website, adding, “The works of a website! Be on look out for Amy Lovvorn Creations.”

Fans React To The News

Amy Slaton made some questionable choices in recent months. For example, she wanted to marry Brian Lovvorn in an old asylum. Additionally, fans know that she and Brian ended up arrested for possession of drugs and for putting the kids in danger. So, they feel she’s not putting her kids first, especially as part of her conviction included attending parenting classes.

Surprised to finally see something positive from the often emotional reality TV star, many of the comments were encouraging. Talking about the need for a website to sell her work, one of her followers wrote, “Please let me know when it is up or how I can buy.”

Others also shared their interest in buying some art from Amy. Meanwhile, others had some suggestions for her. Here are a few of those reactions:

  • feel free to hit me up if you wanna try Etsy and have questions! I’ve been selling on there full time for 4 years!
  • woohoo! I would totally buy some too! Can’t wait to see it!
  • you do great work Amy and i’d bet its relaxing for you. My Grandsons would love the planet art.
  • huge fan and would totally buy your work; my office needs a little Amy.
  • I would love to buy some of your artwork!
  • Please sell some more!!!! I would totally support your art.

Art & The Show

Other followers took the opportunity to reflect on what they see going down on the TLC show. One of them talked about how she had a meltdown because her sisters were not keen on attending a wedding in a crypt.

A commenter wrote, “I hope your siblings that decided to show up when y’all got famous will leave you alone for the small MISDEMEANORS you had compared to their other BS obsessions.”

Another person hoped that she would look after her mental health, which seems fragile.
