Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have purchased a brand new property in the popular European country, Portugal. This is coming amid speculations that the couple mean to be living largely separate lives moving forward.
Despite the purchase, a royal expert has opined that Harry seems likely to be spending more time there than wife Meghan, due to the need for him to keep in contact with his old UK pals.

The newly minted Sussex home is located in the beach town of Melides, Portugal. Apart from the scenery, it’s also predicted that the move was made so that they could be close to the one family within the BRF that they’re still more or less in contact with.
To add cherry on the top, the two couples share children who are approximately the same age. Royal commentators have been speculating how Archie and Lilibet could grow up without knowing any member of their extended family, so maybe this could be the solution to it.
But that’s not all. Harry will reportedly be getting an added advantage to having an European footprint once more after he and wife Meghan packed out of Frogmore Cottage under King Charles’ orders.

The added advantage I was speaking of is Harry finally having a base where he could be boys again with his old pals and do lots of fun stuff – maybe not like the old days, because he’s now married and is a father – but, you know.
Speaking on this on The Palace Confidential podcast, Richard Eden said, “Maybe Portugal is somewhere where Harry can escape to with a bunch of his mates. He’s lost touch with a lot of old friends as well from Britain, but if he says then, ‘Come on, why don’t you come join me in Portugal for a few days? ‘”
According to sources speaking to The Daily Express, Harry and Meghan do not intend the Portugal home to be their primary residence. It is meant to be a vacation getaway, whenever they need a change in pace to life in Montecito.
