For a woman who was literally picked and poked at by folks on the internet in the earlier days of her cancer diagnosis, seeing her return to the public eye unfazed is more a sign that Britain’s fair rose can survive the fair and the foul weather alike.
Not even the rainy day can dampen the brightness of her smiles. Let’s just say that she caused quite a stir on the internet that’s yet to fully die down.
Princess Kate’s – Trooping the Colour Pictures Go Viral Online
Princess Kate’s surprise announcement that she will be joining the rest of the Royal Family to celebrate the King’s birthday weekend was a major thrill to Royal fans – it also had the side effect of being a major damper for the naysayers. So it’s all good.
The picture of the Princess posing on an old willow tree by a stream, with a pensive smile and her face turned upward, received over 150k likes, and probably still counting, on X alone. This goes to show that the Kate Effect is real.
While there was still a “not out of the woods yet” marring the mood a little, Royal Fans could not help but unleash their joy because the Princess is back after – what is it? – six months away from the public eye? (Her last royal engagement was in December).
So it’s no wonder she made headlines every which way you turned. The Mail On Sunday displayed a beautiful picture of her waving from the car with the words, “On cue the sun broke through the showers to shine on her – and the world said in unison: it’s’s lovely to see you Kate.”
The Mirror cheekily headlined their article on her with the words, “Kate to have you back.”
And it’s not just England that’s rejoicing that their Princess is back, the whole world joined in welcoming her back. Variety, People, E! News, Vanity Fair, The New York Post, and dozens of others gave her a massive shout-out, and the fandom hasn’t stopped buzzing either.
Top fan @Canellelabelle gushed, “No one does classic elegance like the Princess of Wales. How incredibly stunning this green eyed brunette is😍Even through sickness, the Spotlight is her playground.”
So yeah, we’re all glad to have Kate back.
