General Hospital Spoilers: Final Farewells
At the church, the pastor eulogizes Sam by praying. “Help us to honor Samantha by living with purpose and hope; we place her spirit in your hands-we look forward to the day we are together again”.
Many sad faces are among the crowd gathered, of Sam’s closest friends, and of course her family.
Among them are shown are Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) can be seen weeping in the background.
Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) sit together, and Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are seen.
GH Spoilers: Family Support
Family support is needed and ready for Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) Danny Morgan, (Asher Antonyzyn) Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Emily “Scout” Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Michael and Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) are also there as are Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
Sam’s mother and family are supported as Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is surrounded by Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos) with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) beside her.
Noticeably missing are Sam’s brother, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and her aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West); Danny ran Lucas off and Ava feels unwelcome.
General Hospital Spoilers: Family Encounter
In the meantime, Lucas and Ava encounter each other at the cemetery-and Ava explains to her nephew by blood why she’s not at the church for the funeral.
Ava asks him why he’s not there-Lucas was already blaming himself for Sam’s death, since he was her surgeon.
Maxie tried to encourage him and talk him out of self-blame, but then Danny arrived with flowers and a drawing by Scout to place on Sam’s casket and ran him off!
He blamed Lucas for letting his mom die, and Lucas promptly left. Ava is there likely paying respects to the daughter she lost, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin).
GH Spoilers: Finally Awakening!
Meanwhile, Lulu is by herself at GH lying on the bed in her hospital room, still hooked up to heart monitors and IVs, although no longer on a ventilator.
She lies there very peaceful, but spoilers reveal that soon she’ll awaken from her four-year coma.
It appears Lulu will wake up alone, and no doubt she’ll wonder where she is and what happened to her. After being injured at the explosion of the Floating Rib, she ignored her headaches and carried on-which caused her to faint in Dante’s arms in the hospital chapel.
It’s been a long four years, but to Lulu it will seem she’s woken up from a nightmare-and she’ll realize she knows how Rip Van Winkle felt!
