General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that in the April 22, 204 episode, Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves Corinthos) ended two vital relationships in the character’s life. For one thing, Nina finally realized that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) despises her.

Since the split, Sonny has been waiting for Nina to sign the divorce papers. However, Nina kept pushing Ava to help her fix her marriage.

Nina also got into bed – figuratively as well as literally – to help her relationship with Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). 

Then, when Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) presented an opportunity for Nina to sell back half of the Metro Court, she took it. Nina thought that it would make her look good in Sonny’s eyes.

However, as Nina licked her lips and excitedly waited for praise, she ended up making a shell-shocking realization. 

That was the moment when Nina realized Ava had been playing her. Finally done, Nina signed the divorce papers.

Meanwhile, Sonny is still dealing with his bipolar medication being tampered with. Sonny’s paranoia and delusions are increasing and intensifying.

Meanwhile, Sonny is pushing all his loved ones away. By the time people realize that Sonny’s meds were tampered with, he will have already lost every bit of support. At least, that is what is intended to happen by messing with bipolar meds.

Ava recently learned that Sonny’s meds aren’t right but hasn’t said a word. Ava knows she has a history of med tampering, but she is still letting the damage continue. So, she can’t care about Sonny all that much.

GH Spoilers – Cynthia Watros’ Statement

On X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Watros made a statement about the end of Nina’s journey.

“I love you my Sona/Niva peeps. Loved every minute of this journey.”

Actress Maura West added,

“Sometimes when I’m on a journey I get turned around somehow and have to pull over and get back on course…. #Niva xx.”
