Molly is the Assistant District Attorney, but should likely recuse herself from her mother, Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) case-chances are, she’ll throw Kristina Davis-Corinthos (Kate Mansi) under the bus!
General Hospital Spoilers – Molly Lansing Davis’s Mad At Alexis Davis For Favoring Kristina
Molly’s mad at Alexis for favoring Kristina over her, which of course isn’t true, but it seems that way to Molly; she knows it was Kristina’s purse the gun was in.
Molly has always been the “good girl” while Kristina’s always been the problematic one, and that’s why Alexis seems to treat her differently.
Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are both furious at Kristina making their baby’s funeral all about her and calling her “Adela” when her name was Irene Marie Ashford (Mazlyn).
Kristina wasn’t even supposed to be there-she crashed the funeral, she wasn’t invited. The way Molly sees it, she wants to put a stop to their mother’s favoritism and she knows just how to do it-give her lawyer the “truth”!
GH Spoilers – Molly Lansing Davis’s Not Thinking Things Through
It’s obvious Molly’s not thinking things through-and if Martin’s smart he’ll tell her to recuse herself from the case-she’s not objective. It’s the same reasoning for an attorney not representing themselves in court, the old saying goes if they do, they have a fool for a client!
With no gun to be tested, to prove it was the murder weapon that was used in the murder of John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) the whole case is circumstantial anyway.
The problem is, when Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) gun safe was searched, there were two guns missing-Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) got rid of the murder weapon.
The FBI is assuming the one Alexis tossed into the river is the one used to kill Cates, because they have nothing else to go on!
General Hospital Spoilers – Reasonable Doubt
Molly knows reasonable doubt is all that’s needed to get Alexis’ case thrown out of court, but she intends to provide reasonable doubt to Martin that Kristina is innocent!
Alexis’ car was seen on the Quartermaine property the night of the murder but it was Kristina, not Alexis who was in it.
Molly hopes to punish both their mother and Kristina by convincing Martin that Alexis was covering for Kristina, and that Kristina had the gun and used it.
Kristina knows that her father, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is on her side in this because he’s the one who reported the gun dumping to the PCPD. Kristina had motive, means and opportunity to kill Cates more than anyone else, and Molly intends to prove it!
