General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shocks Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) when he asks her to meet him at Corinthos Coffee.
It’s been many years since Jason ran Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) legitimate business, the coffee company and he tells her he’s taking over his office there.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Coffee Warehouse Is Empty
For several years, Sonny has had an office where he meets with people at one of his other businesses, Pozzulo’s, and he hasn’t been seen at the coffee warehouse at all.
It’s plain there are still some shipments coming in and going out, although there are only a few bags of coffee on the racks just past the shipping and receiving desk.
Sonny hasn’t been able to move a lot of coffee since Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had put a chokehold on the port when he started his vendetta a couple years back.
The last thing that happened at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse was when Sonny set up a fake arms shipment with coffee beans, that got him busted by the FBI!
Supposedly, he was moving a Pikeman shipment but it wasn’t guns in the crates, it was coffee, embarrassing the Feds.
GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan Asked Diane Miller To Meet Him
Jason asked Diane to meet him and they walk into the warehouse through the door, and she thanks him for meeting her in the parking lot.
She notes this isn’t the best area of town, as they walk past the shipping and receiving desk and the few racks with bags of coffee on them.
She asks Jason why he wanted to meet there in the first place, and he takes a deep breath and walks towards a door with “office” on it.
Jason tells her because this is going to be his office, and Diane laughs and tells him it’s Sonny’s office; Jason informs her it’s not anymore!
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan Was Always Co-Owner
Jason was always co-owner with Sonny of the coffee company, he had forty percent while Sonny had sixty percent; however, that partnership may not have remained intact.
Jason “died” twice now, and in between the first time when held captive in the Boronsky Clinic in Russia and his second “death” under Cassadine Island, he’d owned a motorcycle shop.
That shop went to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) Sonny’s relative and he ran it until he died, killed by Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
But it sounds like somehow Jason’s regained his partner status and he’s managed to buy out Sonny’s interests-that could be financed by Michael.
Jason will ask Diane to do something for him, and she’ll make mention someone behind the scenes was working in his favor.
