One could say acting is in Carolyn’s blood, although she is best known for her long-running stint on GH, as well as its Soap Net spinoff “Night Shift”.
The niece of the late actress Barbara Rush, best known for the 1960s nighttime soap “Peyton Place”, you’d be surprised how many shows Carolyn has been in over the years.
If you check her IMDB account, she’s been in everything from made for tv movies to guest shots on primetime series to voicing characters in video games.
But, like her castmate Cameron Mathison (Drew Quartermaine) and her former castmate Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) she’s now taking a stab at Hallmark. In this movie, she plays a minor, although important role and she shines as bright as the Christmas tree lights!

Rose DeMonte (Ashley Greene) is an interior designer based in Chicago, while her brother Sal (Danny Pellegrino) is leading a Christmas Charity House Flip in their suburban Ohio hometown.
When a budget shortfall threatens this crucial project, Rose is reluctantly drawn back home for the holidays to lend a hand, avoiding confronting her past, she plans to complete the task quickly and leave.
However, she unexpectedly encounters Brysen (Wes Brown), her brother’s best friend and contractor, who was a source of frustration during her youth.
With the support of friends and family, and inspired by the spirit of the season, the trio finds a way to collaborate for this meaningful cause. As Rose immerses herself in the project, she uncovers unexpected love and a renewed sense of purpose.

So where does Carolyn come in- she comes in as the film’s shining jewel, embodying the delightful yet spirited Aunt GiGi, who is Rose and Sal’s spunky aunt.
Renowned among soap opera aficionados as a formidable attorney entangled with the mob, Hennesy unveiled a tender facet of her character as she nurtured her niece and nephew.
Guiding them through the intricacies of their home renovation, she provided sage counsel, unwavering support, and an abundance of culinary delights.
The actress even chronicled her enchanting experience in Utah during the film’s production last September. The movie premieres on the Hallmark Channel Friday, November 29 at 8 pm ET/PT.
