Monday, May 27th is full of surprises as Nish drops a bombshell on the Panesar family, revealing his terminal illness; Nish touches Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) shoulder at McKlunky’s.
Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) are unnerved at seeing Nish, but he has both copies of their final divorce order paperwork to him.
The Panesars agree to change the locks so Nish can’t gain access, but he manipulates Avani into letting him inside the house.
Suki, Ravi Gulati, (Aaron Thiara) Eve and Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) are hostile as Nish starts talking, but they’re left speechless when Nish drops the bombshell that he’s dying. The big question is, with Nish’s conman ways, can they even believe him?
Also Monday, while tensions run high, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa faces an attack of criticism from Cindy, and her ex, Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) steps in to help.
Elsewhere, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) organizes a girls’ night out-Elaine’s sure the time with her stepdaughters, Anna and Gina Knight, (Molly Rainford, Francesca Henry) will be good for all concerned.
She reassures them they will always have a home with her in the Vic. But when her ex-fiancé George Knight (Colin Salmon) gets his hopes up at Elaine’s invitation, he’s disappointed when he learns she just wants him to cover the bar.
Elsewhere on Monday, Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) tries to play cupid by arranging a couples’ spa day for Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) with a voucher.
Unfortunately, Freddie’s matchmaking plans are foiled when Kat opts to bring Big Mo Harris (Laila Morse) along instead. Big Mo has a way of killing any possibility of romance when she gets between a couple.
Meanwhile, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) takes it upon herself to help lonely Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) make connections and find new friends.
However, it won’t be long before Harvey encounters a romantic possibility without Jean’s assistance.
Tuesday, May 28 Nish is in a predicament as the Panesars accuse him of lying, leading to his expulsion from their midst-despite the backlash, Nish continues insisting it’s the truth.
He approaches Priya Nandra-Hart, (Sophie Khan Levy) hoping to gain her trust; however, his efforts are thwarted by his son Ravi, who sternly instructs Nish to keep his distance.
Driven by desperation, Nish seeks out his grandson, Nugget Gulati, (Juhaim Rasal Choudhury) at McKlunky’s, imploring him to listen and understand his side of the story.
Just as Nish pours his heart out, an incensed Ravi discovers their conversation and forcefully pushes Nish, causing him to stumble and necessitating an urgent trip to the hospital.
Also on Tuesday, at Peggy’s, Gina and Anna determine to persuade Elaine to give their father a second chance, while George is overwhelmed trying to manage the crowded bar by himself.
The girls are irritated when Cindy shows up at the club for a drink, prompting her to switch over to the pub instead.
Cindy steps in to assist George when she notices him struggling to handle the pub alone, and they quickly fall back into their familiar Marbella routine.
Elaine is furious upon her return to find Cindy taking charge behind the bar. Meanwhile, Lauren appreciates Peter’s encouragement and agrees to spend the evening with him.
Wednesday, May 28 Elaine dials Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) number urgently, requesting his presence at the Vic-sadly, she reveals the shocking news that George and Cindy shared a passionate kiss.
Meanwhile, in the Beale household, Cindy’s face contorts with displeasure upon spotting Lauren’s presence.
Her hostility and rudeness towards Lauren deeply upset Peter, who warns Cindy that he might consider moving out if she continues to mistreat the mother of his child.
Also on Wednesday, as Eve celebrates her birthday, the atmosphere is far from festive due to Nish’s intrusion into the conversation.
Suki, seeking resolution, proposes a vote among the Panesars to decide whether to allow Nish back into their lives. Nish passionately presents his case, leaving the family unsettled by his profound despair.
Although Ravi initially stands firm in his decision to disown Nish, he finds himself torn as his children, Nugget and Avani, unexpectedly come to Nish’s defense.

On Thursday, May 30 just when Harvey thought he was going to enjoy a pint with Martin Fowler (James Bye), Martin pulls out to look after Zack Hudson (James Farrar).
Disappointed but not for long, Harvey’s mood takes a turn for the better when Maya arrives on the scene, bringing along a special surprise.
Maya presents Harvey with a vintage football program, igniting a passionate discussion about the captivating sport.
While Harvey introduces Maya to Jean, they engage in a delightful conversation, leaving Jean to gracefully join a curious Kat Slater.
