Doubling Down With the Derricos star Deon Derrico has confirmed that the TLC show will return to TV. As Deon and Karen divorced, some viewers feared the show had come to an end. In fact, it nearly did after Season 4 when fans were urged to sign a survey to keep it going.

Large families and lots of kids seem to appeal to fans of TLC. And initially, Doubling Down With the Derricos hit all the right notes. Karen and her husband had 14 kids. Notably, the couple seemed very happy and they got some help from his mom GG, and his “nephew” Eric Jefferson.
In Season 5, when Deon Derrico and Karen announced their divorce, TLC fans reeled in shock! However, there were some serious hints that things were not going well. Remember, they fought over the house and they clashed over Darian’s college education. But, a lot of people just thought it was added drama for the show.
Deon Derrico Reveals When The TLC Show Returns
This week, the TLC patriarch went onto Instagram to share that his sons all helped out with preparing their Thanksgiving dinner. If you don’t know, Karen and her ex are co-parenting the children. Lots of people loved that the boys were learning how to prepare and cook healthy meals. And it was in the comments that fans learned that the show will return.
Deon Derrico wrote in his caption:

In the comments section, the TLC star replied to a curious fan.

The TLC fan asked the patriarch of the large family, “When do y’all show come back on ??” Well, the reply by Deon Derrico was very positive, He said, “Not yet next year.”
As Season 5 of the show premiered in May last year, fans might need to wait until May 2025 before they see the family on TV again. At the moment, it’s anybody’s guess what fans might see play out. Possibly, there will be more about Darian. Meanwhile, the older boys might seriously start dating. Alternatively, fans might see how the kids settle into their new normal with their parents living in separate houses.
