All can change rather rapidly in the soap world. So, Ava Hope’s stillbirth does not necessarily mean Sally and Adam will never reunite.

But for the moment, she is committed to Nick being the man in her life. It is quite clear that Sally’s desire to keep Adam at a distance is due to the remnant feelings she has for him.

Nick is Sally’s stability checkpoint. He has not injected drama into her life and possesses the personality type she wants to emulate. While Adam was electrifying, Sally wants to swim with Nick in calm waters.

Adam was irate when Victor sold Newman Media to Newman Enterprises. The Moustache created the company as a standalone entity to run with Adam. It was a make-good project and Adam excelled. Victor offered Adam a second pitch.

He would buy McCall Unlimited and have him head it. Adam was naturally hesitant but agreed with the stipulation that he would gut the company of poorly performing divisions and refocus it on the burgeoning streaming industry. So, Victor’s desire to have Nick help Adam run this new business will be seen as a way to keep eyes on him.

The fondness Adam has for Sharon is not unlimited. So, her ask for help with Kirsten Incorporated is not destined for immediate embrace.

Adam will see through her plan to help him stabilize following the recent storms. But when he has time to think it over, Adam should help his one-time wife and personal life counselor.

Whether Sharon can convince Adam to accept Nick’s help as part of handling Cameron’s company will be seen on Y&R.
