But viewers know the Moustache has been attempting to acquire McCall Unlimited. Victor had not told Adam his plan until Grossman’s character arrived, uninvited, at the Ranch.

With some pressing, Victor said what his plan was, that he wanted Adam to run what would not become a division of Newman Enterprises. But a separate entity like Newman Media originally was. However, Victor said that his plan hit a snag.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) acted quickly, besting Victor to obtain Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) entire debt load. So, she used the ability her My Beauty wealth afforded to become a power player in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Ashley has the ability to sell the debt to Newman Enterprises at a tidy profit if she wants to do so. Alternatively, she could sell to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) if he agrees to Tucker’s proposal, which Ashley pointedly suggested.

However, a third option would have Ashley retain a stake in a revamped McCall Unlimited, led by Devon, as she and Tucker hope. One assumes Ashley does not intend to allow Victor to get his greedy hands on the flailing conglomerate.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman And Ashley Abbott’s Checkered Backstory

Victor often wins. But he does not always win, with Ashley standing on the winning side against him on more than one occasion.

The two-time spouses share a child, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), and a stormy history. For years, Abby believed the late Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) was her father. A soapy reveal tagged Victor as her biological link.

Ashley has a cordial relationship with Victor but trusts him less than Tucker. And, as fans and St. John’s character are seeing, she still loves Tucker. Ashley has not been in love with Victor for years.

Adam does not trust his father’s motives. He has some good reasons to take that stance but could not truthfully deny that he would never be in such a comfortable spot in life without Victor’s blood tie.

Running McCall Unlimited would be a major get. But if Victor can not deliver on that promise, Adam will likely criticize his father for not delivering unless another plum is served to him on a silver plate on Y&R.
