Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is still not back in the family business or the family fold despite The Great Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) best efforts to make that happen. It doesn’t seem to bother Adam, however, considering that he is branching out to live his own life and has made sure it’s not all wrapped up in being Victor’s son. He is a bright and successful businessman who was accomplished before he ever arrived in GC and can make it on his own again.

When Victor and Adam sit down to catch up, all Victor wants to do is run Adam’s life again, including his love life. Adam doesn’t take too kindly to being asked to be nice to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and respect their relationship. And he has good reasons, too. Victor is stunned when he hears that the reasons are that Sally is carrying Adam’s baby and Adam is still madly in love with her. This is trouble Victor was not counting on. Or was he, as he is all-knowing, after all?

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Needs A Favor From Christine Blair Williams

With Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) under arrest for Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is determined to do whatever he has to in order to ensure Diane’s freedom. He is in love with this woman and knows she didn’t kill Phyllis, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t need a good lawyer.

To that end, Jack calls on Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) to defend Diane and Chris has to decide whether to take the case or not. On the one hand, she was ready to retire and call it quits with her legal life. On the other hand, this is a very juicy case that will allow her to leave her mark.

Christine would also find herself defending the woman accused of killing Chris’ worst enemy. There was never any love lost between Christine and Phyllis, especially after it was Phyllis who broke up Chris’ first marriage to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Maybe it’s time Christine settles the score, something a very-much-alive Phyllis will not like. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
