Right now Daniel could use a friend or three. He is dealing with the fallout of his mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faking her death, killing a man, and being on the run. Which is not a small amount of trouble. And yet there are still many in GC who see Red as some sort of heroic character who they miss with fondness. Last week Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) met with Red and told her to give herself up.

When he told his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) the tale she waxed poetic about what a good friend Phyllis is, always lighting up a room. Hello? Has Lauren lost her senses? Red has deceived everyone in town, put her loved ones through fake heartache and is now a fugitive. It just seems off to hear a character reminisce about how ‘lively’ Phyllis is.

Back to the heat we mentioned earlier, as a direct result of Phyllis’ treachery, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) blew up his marriage and the chemistry between him and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is about to go nuclear!
