Delighted, she wrote in her caption, “I like Maddie’s back yard “pets,” adding, “this is 1 week’s worth.” Then, she added a chicken and a loving eyes emoji.
Maddie’s fortunate because other folks who might follow the Sister Wives star don’t have easy access to eggs. According to Spectrum Local News, folks in North Carolina are struggling to find eggs. Apparently, if they get their hands on them, they are expensive. In fact, people go off in search of farmer’s markets to see if they can get them directly from the source.

The outlet reported that “the average price of a dozen eggs keeps climbing as availability has been lower.” Apparently, “Avian Flu” is the cause, although some people think retailers just profit off the fact that there are fewer chickens around. Notably, in December, eggs had increased in price by “238%” over the previous year.
