Meghan Markle Found Out The Queen Had Died Before Prince Harry

New details are emerging regarding the reason Harry was late to see the Queen before she passed. Last year, we learned that Harry found out his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, was dead hours after she died.

The reason? William was not picking his calls and he had no idea what was happening. He couldn’t call his father because he doesn’t carry a phone, and William was ignoring his texts.

This all meant that Harry arrived at Balmoral Castle confused and wanting information. But there’s more to this tale.

Prince Harry’s Team Pleaded With The Palace To Allow Duke To Arrive Before Announcing The Queen’s Death

New extracts from Omid Scobie’s biography, “Endgame,” is now available and it’s dividing royal fans all over again.

Scobie is more famously known for being a close friend of Harry and Meghan, and for co-writing the sympathetic book, “Finding Freedom,” which is said to contain some input from the Sussexes.

When the Queen died and Harry was on his way, his team begged the Palace on his behalf to delay the statement a bit until he arrived.

A source said: “His [Harry’s] team literally had to beg for them to wait for his plane to land and they reluctantly agreed to hold the statement back for a little bit.”

Throughout his 70-minute flight to the Scottish estate, Harry was unreachable by his family.

However, new details from the extract say that once Harry landed, the first thing he saw was Meghan’s urgent message advising him to call her as soon as possible.

The next thing he saw was a breaking news report by BBC announcing the death of Queen Elizabeth the II.

According to a close source, Harry was “crushed” that his family didn’t wait for him before releasing a public statement.

A source close to Harry told Scobie, “His relationship with the Queen was everything to him. She would have wanted him to know before it went out to the world.

They could have waited just a little longer, it would have been nothing in the grand scheme of things, but no one respected that at all.”

Meghan Markle – Knew She Was “Not Wanted” At Balmoral Castle

Some members of the Royal Family were actually able to see the Queen before she passed away on September 8.

However, William wasn’t one of them. When the Queen passed and closest family members were gathering at Balmoral, Meghan was told not to join. Kate also sat it out, but people were convinced that she did it to stay with her three children.

As for Meghan, people believed it was because no one wanted her there. A former Palace aide even opined: “They just didn’t want Meghan there.”

A friend of Meghan’s also echoed the sentiment, saying that the Duchess “could sense she was not wanted.”
