GH Spoilers Tuesday, August 29: Precarious Pickles, Pentonville Probes, Presumptive Protections

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, August 29 tease precarious pickles, Pentonville probes and presumptive protections.

Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) in a precarious pickle, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) asks probing questions at Pentonville, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) issues presumptive protections.

General Hospital Spoilers – Precarious Pickles

Gladys is in a precarious pickle as she enters Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) office at Crimson Magazine. Nina looks concerned as Gladys says they have to talk now, it’s a matter of life and death.

Gladys needs money to pay off Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Damon Montague, (Darin Toonder) but she tells Nina it’s for Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) medical bills.

Nina will be suspicious, and she’ll want to bring Sonny in to help. But that’s the last kind of help Gladys needs!

GH Spoilers – A Shot To Put Someone In The Dark

Meanwhile, at Ferncliff, Sasha is the one who’s living the matter of life and death as Montague holds a large needle, getting ready to stick her with it.

Sasha looks at the doctor and shakes her head no, the fear showing in her face-he tells her he’s going to give her something to take all her fear away.

For Sasha, it’s a shot to put her in the dark and it may be putting her in the dark forever. Montague won’t let her out until Gladys pays him $50,000, and he may not let Sasha out then-with every new pill and shot she’s closer to a possible coma.

General Hospital Spoilers – Bad News Delivered

Elsewhere, Marshall and Curtis Ashford (Robert Gossett, Donnell Turner) are outside as Marshall tells Curtis there’s trouble at the club.

Selina had tried to buy the club and Marshall turned her down flat, as well as shutting down her high-stakes poker game. Selina threatened to dig up dirt on Marshall but she already has a background report which revealed nothing more than his arrest at a long ago protest.

She’d also pulled up that he lived overseas for a while but that couldn’t possibly be that dangerous of leverage. Marshall’s news report will make Curtis even more determined to get back to work, wheelchair or not.

GH Spoilers – Pentonville Probes

At Pentonville, Cyrus probes Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and tells him that now he has Sonny’s protection too. If that’s true, it must be because Sonny found out that Drew had saved Cyrus’ life.

On the other hand, Cyrus is Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) brother and he could be considered extended family. But Cyrus also asks Drew a lot of questions, to where Drew’s not sure where they’re leading.

General Hospital Spoilers – Presumptive Protections

Back in Port Charles at Sonny’s office, he and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) put their heads together.

Sonny issues presumptive protection demands to Brick, warning him to stay as far away from Port Charles as possible.

They also talk about the possibility of there being someone who’s on the inside, trying to get rid of Sonny and get all the money.

If Sonny’s giving warnings like that to Brick, then there is serious danger indeed in Port Charles. Perhaps he’s worried about retaliation from the big boss who Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanayel Grey) work for, not knowing yet it’s Cyrus.

GH Spoilers – Family Updates

Another family update takes place at Kelly’s, where Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) tells Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) some good news.

She tells Michael that she’s found a way to get Drew out of Pentonville-based on Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Miller) statement that she’s on it after leaving earlier. Carly knows if anyone can turn things around Diane can, even if it is a federal case and Drew took a plea bargain.

Prejudice on the part of the sentencing judge was mentioned, as well as getting another judge.
