It’s Deidre Hall’s 5,000th episode as Marlena Evans Craig Brady Black and it’s time to celebrate and remember more than 40 years as Salem’s top shrink, affectionately known as ‘Doc’.

Marlena also has a momentous occasion to celebrate so John Black (Drake Hogestyn) takes his recently-retuned-from-the-dead wife out for dinner as they remember years gone by

Expect to see Hall’s very first scene as Marlena at Bayview when she was treating Mickey Horton (John Clark) in the 1970s.

You’ll also see her many perils and adventures, as well as tender moments with the men in her life, and her children and grandchildren.

DOOL Spoilers – A Lead On Kate Brady

Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) is still cleaning fish on that fishing boat as her loved ones try to save her.

Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) finally get a lead on Kate’s whereabouts and set out to find her.

At least Kate is getting to know her captor and figuring out what he really wants from her. It seems she is not just a random hostage. There is a reason she is being kept on this boat away from her family.

Meanwhile, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) is still having a hard time without his Katie. But, instead of doing something to find her, he confesses all his feelings to a supportive Maggie Hoton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).

At least he has a friend by his side, but perhaps this rescue mission will be successful and Kate will be back soon.

Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) might be with Chad now but that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t have to work with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
