Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Abe Carver Went Missing From Salem University Hospital
Theo and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) both come to Salem, along with Paulina Price’s (Jackeé Harry) mother Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs). They are all there not only for the Salem Juneteenth celebration, but also for Abe and Paulina’s first anniversary.
Paulina really needs the support with Abe still missing from the hospital, where he had been recovering from a head injury inflicted by Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman).
Abe traditionally has been giving a speech as Mayor for the Juneteenth celebration, but this year Theo is filling in for his absent father. Chad decides to help Theo with his speech, wanting to be supportive, and Theo appreciates the help.
DOOL Spoilers – Theo Carver Wants The Speech To Be Perfect And To Honor His Dad
Theo wants the speech to be perfect, and to honor his missing dad; this is the first time Theo has attempted a public speech and Chad wants to help. Chad makes sure to do his research about the holiday, wanting to get every detail right that Theo wants to include.
Theo has some extra challenges, as a high functioning autistic person, and Chad is sensitive to his unique needs. He wants to make everything as easy as possible for Theo and that means making the speech accurate but easy to understand and read.
He knows that stage fright and freezing up on the podium could be disastrous for Theo, even though most people would just laugh it off and start again.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera Wants The Speech To Be A Success
Chad wants the speech to be a success and Theo to be a success as well, and Theo appreciates Chad believing in him, and all his encouragement.
They practice Theo reading the speech, with all the pauses and intonations. Chad wants to give Theo every tool he can for success, and also understands the frustrations and fear when a family member is missing.
Chad dealt with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) being missing for months and doesn’t want Theo and the rest of Abe’s family to have to wait that long. Theo feels that Chad’s help has been just what he needs to get up in public and give the Juneteenth speech for his father.
