Chrisley Knows Best – Was Canceled But Filming A New Show Starts
The last season was filmed ahead of Todd and Julie starting their prison sentences for tax and fraud-related crimes. So, there were some bittersweet moments for fans. Watching it seemed surreal, knowing that Todd and Julie sat in federal prison. At one stage, there was talk of a new show for Todd, called Love Limo. Even Growing Up Chrisley was set to continue as well as the main show. However, that all fell away after the long prison terms were announced.
In March, Chrisley Knows Best fans heard about the possibility of a new show. Obviously, it doesn’t have Todd and Julie as the main characters. Notably, the word arrived that it will focus on the rest of the family and how they cope with their parents being locked up. At the time, Savannah claimed that it would be “heartbreaking.” Nanny Faye might be in it, but thanks to new footage, fans of the family now know that probably, Grayson and Chloe will take part in it.

Clearly, Savannah found a production company to take on a new show for the family. It’s not clear, apart from the kids struggling without their parents, what it will involve. Additionally, it seems that it will be shooting Savannah’s home as the big house recently got a buyer. The clips that Savannah shared on Friday were very short. One of them showed Chloe sitting at a table. And the other one showed what looked like Grayson on a couch. Perhaps it was a confessional scene.
Chrisley Knows Best fans discussed the clips on Reddit. There, u/Total-Actuary4246 wrote, “Seems like filming started today.. hopefully, it’s an authentic show but with them that’s a very slim chance ?.” Actually, that’s a good question because everyone knows that Todd used to rehearse a lot and help to pre-script what happened. Still, a lot of people enjoyed the comedy.

Chrisley Knows Best fans probably will check out the new show when it arrives, even if it’s just to see more about the family. However, some folks agree that it is likely to be scripted like the original.
One person in the community wrote, “It started to become so clear how scripted its become.”
Similarly, another follower wrote, “If they show real drama I’d be interested.”
