Thomas is sincere about wanting to keep the peace. He is telling the truth when saying he is not experiencing desires for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).

The above bodes well regarding Thomas’ intentions toward RJ, who is no threat to him, regardless of whatever job Ridge provides at Forrester Creations. It would be a stretch to have RJ suddenly rival Forrester Creations’ lead designer.

Atkinson’s character will soon face an unexpected opportunity when he learns Hope is interested in him. That distraction could prevent or cause tension with RJ. But even if Hoffman’s character does not clash with his older brother, fallout seems likely for Thomas, and RJ could benefit from that on B&B.
