Y&R Spoilers: Fresh Start For Adam Newman

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease a fresh start for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) away from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may mean a fresh start with his dad. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will want a new start with his youngest son once he sees he’s given up Sally.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Wants Sally Spectra Gone

Victor has made no secret of wanting Sally gone from both his sons’ lives, although she recently waffled between Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). The fact of her waffling tells Victor that soon Nick will kick her to the curb as well, because she’s nothing but trouble to his family. Nick should realize if he is involved with someone his own daughter Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) detests, it should tell him something.

Victor did a deep dive investigation into Sally but it didn’t tell him anything both Nick and Adam didn’t know already. But at least she’s away from Adam for now, and can’t do any more damage there-Victor of course has no idea it was Adam who dumped her to save her job.

 Y & R Spoilers – Victor Newman, Master Meddler

Victor can be a master meddler when it comes to his children’s relationships, even though they are all grown and able to decide for themselves. The one spouse he did approve of turned out to be someone who was the worst, and Adam and Nick both saw through Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Victor should realize Sally is no Ashland Locke and just leave her and Nick alone if she makes Nick happy. But as for Adam, he’ll have a new direction in his romantic life although he may wind up going backwards-Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) backwards. But Victor does recognize they share a child together and that is something he cannot deny his son.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hopeful For A New Start

The week of December 19 will have Victor hoping for a new start with Adam, and possibly a new year, new Adam in 2023. His accepting Sally is in his taillights might impress Victor that Adam has gained a new maturity, and maybe Adam will listen to Victor going forward. He’ll always crave his father’s approval, although he’s now become part of the Jabot business thanks to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) thinking he’s worth taking a chance.

But, perhaps Victor’s new perspective on Adam has something to do with Jack’s acceptance of him, since the Abbotts and the Newmans are old enemies. Either way, Victor may think he’d better try a little harder to keep Adam in his good graces.
