GH Spoilers: Sam Wants Drew Back?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could be carrying a torch for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). In spite of her agreement to a move-in together with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), she sure cast a jealous look at Drew with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

General Hospital Spoilers – Wants What She Can’t Have?

Viewers have to wonder if Sam wants what she can’t have, considering she was with Dante when Drew returned and wanted her back. But then, Drew didn’t give her an option, he could tell she’d moved on and was happy with Dante so he backed away. He had been focusing on his memories of Sam and their daughter Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) when he was in captivity and they kept him going.

It was Sam he called when he first got a cell phone away from a guard after two plus years presumed dead. Drew was just lucky that she believed him and took the call seriously even though it was short.

Sam and Carly have always been rivals, especially when it came to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton); it was like she was always a third wheel when Sam and Jason were married. Jason often put Carly’s needs and wants ahead of Sam’s and even their child, and when he returned from the dead she was with Drew. Of course, no one knew that he was Drew including himself, since his and Jason’s memories were attempted to be switched; Drew got Jason’s but Jason’s didn’t keep Drew’s. Sam struggled after Jason came back and Drew found out he wasn’t Jason and the truth eventually came out. If Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and her son with Drew, Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt) hadn’t come to town he may never have known.

When Sam was with Drew, she learned to like the much safer lifestyle once Jason came back, but she took a long time to decide who to stay with. Sam had a child with each of them now but ultimately chose to be with Jason, even though that wound up ultimately falling apart after Drew had disappeared. She may be wondering now that Drew is back if she made a wrong choice with Dante since the life of a cop’s wife may be just as dangerous.

Drew is a businessman now, not someone who would be involved in anything dangerous. Could that jealous look at Carly and Drew together mean she’s carrying a torch and wishing she’d made a different decision?
