GH Spoilers: Dante Opens Up To Sam, Confesses Teenage Crime?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will finally open up to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and confess the teenage “crime” he’s been dancing around about. He and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) got into a little trouble that year at camp together, but it’s not nearly as big a deal as Cody makes it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Do The Crime, Do The Time

Dante explains that he and Cody were dared by someone at camp to do something they realized later was stupid, and not only that, illegal. Since they were minors at the time, nothing ever really came of it except a slap on the wrist, and it wasn’t all that big of a deal. On the record, it was called misdemeanor mischief, even though it was something illegal – property damage was caused by their dare because it was a break-in.

It was so minor that they weren’t even punished, they just had to make restitution in the form of repairing a door they broke down. It was similar to a prank someone might be influenced to do in a college fraternity hazing.

GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Has Bad Self Esteem

According to General Hospital spoilers, Dante explains Cody has really bad self-esteem and always has; that is why he was willing to break into the camp office even though the door was all that was damaged. Dante helped him, but they didn’t take anything – at least not for very long; the dare was to steal a lockbox just to prove they could. They put it back without opening it, but they didn’t realize the camp office had a security feed-but that security camera showed it was just a foolish prank.

The head camp counselor made examples of them and that’s the only reason they were ever punished at all-their mothers weren’t even called. But for Cody, this dare opened a door to risky behavior, like gambling for instance and his parachuting into pools for money, but he still doesn’t like himself for doing it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Is Relieved

Sam is relieved and honesty, she stifles a giggle when Dante finally explains his and Cody’s teenage crime-they weren’t even teenagers yet, they were twelve! Here she’d been worried it was some deep dark secret that if ever revealed could ruin Dante’s police career, and now he laughs. Sam herself has done worse things than that in her past, and can’t believe how much ado she made over comparatively nothing.

They’ll have to do some encouragement of Cody to help him feel better about himself. Dante keeps pushing him to get to know Mac Scorpio (John J. York) better, you’re never too old for a father figure and Mac’s willing.
