General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) seems to have a secret. As viewers know, Portia assured Curtis Ashford (Donell Turner) that even though they had an affair during that time, Curtis was not Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) biological father. Portia claims that Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), her husband at the time, is Trina’s father. But her recent reaction to Marshall Ashford’s (Roger Gossett) diagnosis of schizophrenia has called that into question!

The arrival of Marshall in Port Charles has already turned Curtis’ life upside down. Marshall let Curtis believe that he was dead for decades and only showed up again recently once Curtis opened the Savoy. Marshall’s love of music caused him to see the opening of the Savoy as a sign that it was time to make contact. But Marshall remained cagey about his past which only served to drive a wedge between Marshall and Curtis!

Not wanting to divulge his diagnosis, Marshall left Port Charles once again. Curtis and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) tracked Curtis down, and after an altercation with a couple of muggers, Marshall ended up in the hospital. But finally, Marshall was ready to tell Curtis everything once they returned to Port Charles. Marshall has said that he hasn’t had any issues since beginning his medication, but Curtis still had cause to worry. Curtis told Portia about Marshall’s diagnosis. Portia seemed more upset than expected.

Portia seemed more concerned than expected once she discovered Marshall had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. This is likely because schizophrenia has a genetic component. Portia made an appointment with a genetics specialist. The only reason she would do this is that she is worried that Trina may have inherited Marshall’s disease. This would only be possible if Portia had been lying all this time and that Curtis, and not Taggert, is actually Trina’s father. Portia’s long-kept secrets may be about to come out, and her relationship with both Trina and Curtis may not survive!
