Hope Brady has been living in Montreal for more than two years and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) make visiting her mom their first stop on their sailing trip around the world with Little Baby Bo.

But the return of Hope isn’t all we’re going to get. We are also going to get more Bo Brady after seeing him in Salem spiritually on the network version of the soap when he helped conclude the devil possession storyline.

When we see Bo and Hope beyond Salem this week on the spin-off mini-series, expect it to feel like an extra special blast from the past.

A Love Letter To Days of Our Lives Fans

From the sounds of things, longtime DOOL fans will finally feel seen on Peacock and Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso explained it all to TV Insider.

“I was so flattered when they came to me and asked me to reprise the role of Hope Brady,” Alfonso said in a video interview. “What really got me is the storyline. I don’t know how they are going to fit all that happens within these five episodes in them because there’s a lot.”

Reckell put in his own two cents, saying, “The writing, there’s so much history to it. The first time I read the whole script, these writers, it’s as if they had been writing the show back in the ‘80s and they brought all this stuff into the present day. Anybody who’s watched the show since we’ve been on and since ’83, you will love this because you’ll go, ‘Oh, I remember that, oh I remember that.'”

The actors also reveal that Bo’s motorcycle will somehow come into play, although last we saw Ciara owned it.

Reckell and Alfonso even seemed to finish one another’s thoughts in the video with Reckell saying, “Well, it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a chance to play Bo Brady again, to play the ultimate character is…” And Alfonso finished for him, saying, “incredible.” And her co-star agreed.”
