1000-Lb Sisters: Amy Halterman Welcomes Her New Baby

1000-Lb Sisters fans often trolled Amy Slaton-Halterman for being a bad mom to her son Gage. However, he certainly looks healthy enough and now, he’s a big brother. Fans heard that Amy and Michael Halterman expected a baby and when their baby boy arrived, she shared plenty of photos on her Instagram account. What else do you need to know about the new bundle of joy? Read on to find out.

1000-Lb Sisters – Amy Halterman Chooses A Name

As 1000-Lb Sisters fans know, Amy chose a strange name for her firstborn child. In fact, fans feared that once again, she’d come up with a horror-themed label for her second son. Recall, that she named Gage after the scary boy who was resurrected as a killer in Stephen King’s book, Pet Sematary. During her gender reveal, fans heard her talk about “John Allen” or “Jon Boy,” but she didn’t end up calling her new son John.

Another thing that made 1000-Lb Sisters fans irritated with her was her obvious disappointment that she wouldn’t be having a girl. So, some fans shaded her because many people would give almost anything for a child, no matter what their gender is. Now the news arrived that Michael and his wife named their second child Glenn Allen Halterman. So far, hardly anyone trolled her on the name-choice.

1000-Lb Sisters – What You Need To Know About Baby Glen Allen

Throughout her pregnancy, the TLC star kept her fans updated about her progress. Actually, fans heard much more about her new baby than they did with Gage. Recall, that everyone wanted to know everything, but as the birth featured in an upcoming season, she couldn’t. say much. Mind you, Amy’s sister Tammy managed to spoil the arrival of Gage on Twitter.

This time around, it seems that Tammy at least let the couple share their own news with 1000-Lb Sisters fans. When they announced the arrival of Glenn, they didn’t give many specifics, but the baby was born on July 5. That news came via People Magazine which published some photos of the happy news. The outlet also noted, “The reality star’s baby boy arrived on July 5 via c-section, weighing 5 lbs. 11 oz. and measuring 17.5 inches at birth.”
