Days of Our Lives (DOOL) comings and goings spoilers say that fans will soon be seeing two news faces in Salem, but at the same time, they are certainly familiar faces, too. That’s because actress Jackee Henry (ex-Lily, Another World) will be making her debut on DOOL. She will be playing a character by the name of Aunt Paulina. What’s more, newcomer Precious Way will also be making her debut as Aunt Paulina’s daughter, Chanel. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest spoilers, Days of Our Lives Head Writer Ron Carlivati couldn’t be more thrilled that Jackee is joining the DOOL family. Her character is coming at a great time, too, as the writers are expanding a little into Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) family history. Now that Lani and Eli have gotten their twins back, it’s time for the next chapter in their lives, and this includes more, if not also, unexpected family members.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Days of Our Lives’ Carlivati puts it this way, “I had this image of Jackee coming into the show and being a part of that family. I put it out there and then producers reached out, and it turned out she was interested and it was like the stars aligned. I am super excited that she’s on the show; the cast is really excited. I’ve had the producers call me and be like, ‘She’s knocking it out the part,’ so she’s just coming in like a force of nature.”
